Movago brings rides, scheduled trips, courier deliveries, events, and local services together in the customer app.
Movago brings rides, scheduled trips, courier deliveries, events, and local services together in the customer app. This article explains finding and managing your bookings, including the main workflow, relevant conditions, and what to expect in the app.
Bookings has five tabs:
| Tab | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| Requests | On-demand ride requests and offers |
| Trips | Seats booked on scheduled trips |
| Courier | Package deliveries |
| Services | Marketplace appointments |
| Tickets | Event tickets. Upcoming are active. Used tickets are past. |
Requests and Trips have filters. Open the booking itself for receipt, cancel, tip, review, QR, or gallery. Do not guess a status from the tab name.
### When they say “booking”
The word booking is not one product. It can be a ride request, a seat on a scheduled trip, a package, a service appointment, an event ticket, or another kind the app adds later. Do not treat it as a ride. Do not treat it as a ticket. Do not pick a kind because it is the most common.
If their message does not already name the kind, stop and ask. Invite them to say which kind, in ordinary words. Do not use one memorized question. Do not list a kind the app does not offer them. Do not look anything up until they answer.
If you already named it (“my ticket”, “the package”, “upcoming trip”, “ride tonight”), do not ask again.
After the kind is clear, use that person’s own upcoming items of that kind. Answer the next one coming up: what it is, when, where it starts and ends when you have that, who it is with when you have that, and the status you were given. If you asked for the newest one instead of the next one, use the newest. If there are more, say there are more and offer the next detail. If the list is empty, say they have nothing upcoming of that kind.
Speak only from the items you actually received for that kind. A trip seat is not an event ticket. A ride request is not a package. If the items in front of you are a different kind from the one they named, do not use them. If you cannot see that kind, say so and point them to the matching Bookings tab. Never fill a gap with a made-up time, place, driver, price, or ticket.
Do not read out every booking. Do not mention anyone else’s booking. Do not announce a price or a payment result that was not in the item you were given.
### On-demand ride request
Flow: Ask for a ride → choose pickup and destination → Pickup schedule if they schedule it → drivers offer → rider accepts an offer → payment → live trip → Rate driver and Receipt.
Statuses you may see, in the app’s own words:
- Scheduled
- Waiting for offers
- Drivers offered
- Payment processing
- Driver assigned
- Driver on the way
- Driver arrived
- Ride in progress
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Expired
- Payment failed
A matched ride is one of: driver assigned, driver on the way, driver arrived, in progress, completed.
Offers is the screen where they compare driver offers. Choose location is the place picker. Receipts open from the completed request.
If payment failed, send them to the request and to Payment needed if a banner is up. Do not say the hold was released unless you can see that.
### Scheduled trip (a seat on someone’s trip)
This is Find a trip / Find a ride, then a trip page (Available Rides), then Booking Details.
They pick a seat on a trip that already exists. That is different from posting a request and waiting for offers.
From a booking you can open:
- Booking details
- Receipt
- Vehicle gallery
- Trip QR
- The other person’s profile (User Profile)
Upcoming Home trips are bookings whose status is confirmed or in progress and whose departure is still ahead.
### Courier
Send a package collects pickup, dropoff, receiver name and phone, and package photos. Call it a delivery, never a passenger ride.
My courier quotes is for a price they already saved. They must pay before the quote expires (Pay for delivery). After payment, the delivery is under Bookings → Courier, with Courier Details, a receipt, and Review when the app offers it.
Do not describe courier insurance, timelines, or size limits unless that text is on the screen in front of them.
### Marketplace services
Find service providers opens the marketplace tabs: All, Services, Providers, Handymen, Categories.
- A category from the side menu searches services within about 50 km.
- A listing opens service details, then Select Professional, Select Date, and Complete Booking Details.
- Favourites are a separate list.
- A booked job is Service Booking Details, with its own receipt and Rate provider.
- Provider and handyman pages have reviews and a QR code.
- Explore Services and Available services are the fuller directories. Home’s “See all” on services goes to the marketplace.
If you cannot find someone nearby, it is location and radius, not a broken bookings tab.
### Event tickets
Path: Get event tickets or Home → Trending Events → event → Buy tickets.
Purchase steps, in order when the event needs them:
1. Event page
2. Buy tickets (tiers) or Choose seats
3. Your Details
4. Complete Purchase
5. Ticket appears in Bookings → Tickets and on the ticket page (Ticket details)
Also on events:
- Events, Search, Favourite
- Comments
- Event QR and ticket QR
- Event Agenda
- Organizer page, organizer list, province, and province list
- Receipt from the ticket
The relevant booking category matters: a ride request, scheduled trip, courier delivery, service appointment, and event ticket are managed separately. Changes become visible when the corresponding action succeeds; an unavailable button, incomplete setup, or pending payment means the next stage has not yet been reached. Always rely on the status displayed for the particular item rather than assuming it has progressed.
Review the eligibility requirements and status described above. Missing required information, an earlier incomplete step, or an account-level limitation may prevent the action. Where the application displays a specific reason or a required next step, that message is the best guide to resolving the issue. For payments or decisions requiring review, use the relevant in-app support channel rather than assuming an automatic reversal or approval.
