Movago service providers manage their business profile, coverage, staff, listings, and bookings.
Movago service providers manage their business profile, coverage, staff, listings, and bookings. This article explains what booking rules apply to the whole business, including the main workflow, relevant conditions, and what to expect in the app.
In business settings you can set:
- Minimum lead time before someone can book
- Whether same-day bookings are allowed
- A default technician
- How many hours before the visit a customer can reschedule
- Alerts for a new booking, a cancellation, a failed payment, and the job moving through its steps, by email, text, or push
The app should show those settings saved.
These are the defaults. One listing can override lead time, same-day booking, and the reschedule cutoff. The technician still has to have hours, and the listing has to be active, for a customer to book.
The business owner controls service availability and staffing; assigned technicians record arrival, work progress, and completion. Changes become visible when the corresponding action succeeds; an unavailable button, incomplete setup, or pending payment means the next stage has not yet been reached. Always rely on the status displayed for the particular item rather than assuming it has progressed.
Review the eligibility requirements and status described above. Missing required information, an earlier incomplete step, or an account-level limitation may prevent the action. Where the application displays a specific reason or a required next step, that message is the best guide to resolving the issue. For payments or decisions requiring review, use the relevant in-app support channel rather than assuming an automatic reversal or approval.
