Getting started / The app
Movago brings rides, scheduled trips, courier deliveries, events, and local services together in the customer app.
Movago brings rides, scheduled trips, courier deliveries, events, and local services together in the customer app. This article explains understanding the movago customer app, including the main workflow, relevant conditions, and what to expect in the app.
Movago is one app for getting around and getting things done:
- Ask for a ride — on-demand. The rider posts a request, drivers send offers, the rider picks one.
- Find a trip — a scheduled shared ride with a seat. This is not the same as asking for a ride.
- Send a package — courier. Pickup, dropoff, receiver, and package photos. It is not a passenger trip.
- Get event tickets — browse events in Canada, buy seats or tiers, show a ticket QR.
- Find service providers — local marketplace (home, beauty, repairs, and other categories). Book a time with a provider.
- Pay — saved cards, wallet balance, Apple Pay / Google Pay where the checkout offers them, gift cards, and Movago Pro.
- Support — this chat. Home → Available Services → Support.
Home also shows ads, announcements, trending events, event categories, provinces, nearby organizers, services in the city, trips near you, and a map. Sections appear only when there is something to show.
The relevant booking category matters: a ride request, scheduled trip, courier delivery, service appointment, and event ticket are managed separately. Changes become visible when the corresponding action succeeds; an unavailable button, incomplete setup, or pending payment means the next stage has not yet been reached. Always rely on the status displayed for the particular item rather than assuming it has progressed.
Review the eligibility requirements and status described above. Missing required information, an earlier incomplete step, or an account-level limitation may prevent the action. Where the application displays a specific reason or a required next step, that message is the best guide to resolving the issue. For payments or decisions requiring review, use the relevant in-app support channel rather than assuming an automatic reversal or approval.
